what oil ?

going to give my car an oil change , what oil do you guys use ? looked at halfords bmw 5w\30 , i change my oil every 6 months dont do many miles , should i pay the extra and use castrol edge ?? thanks guys

If its a si engine I highly recommend Redline 0-30w?

as long as it conforms to LL01 or the better LL04 LongLife spec, should be alright

personally i would stick with castrol edge though.

castrol edge is top-notch stuff.. royal purple does wonders, too. i prefer the purp over the edge though.. just my preference.
