What offset alloys

Can someone tell me what offset alloys will fit on a 2007 car?

I'm yet to pick the car up but it's on 19's which I'd like to sell (they've caught the arch and I'd prefer 18's)

Are there other BMW wheels that will fit with the correct offset?

Well welcome to the forum!

But as you'll find we do like to see photos of members cars.

There are loads of options on wheel sizes & offsets - OEM 18s on facelifts were 8J x 18 ET 47 front and 8.5J x 18 ET50 rear, but I've got E89 wheels on mine which are 8J x 18 ET29 front and 8.5J x 18 ET40 rear which haven't rubbed yet!

I was looking at these on ebay, seller has now confirmed ET34 and ET47?

I'll get some pictures in the new members section when I collect the car tomorrow

Those offsets would work at a squeeze but tyres would need to be chosen to suit , not totally understanding the post but are you saying the wheels pictured above are on your 2007 Z4 & are looking to sell them ? If so worth starting a for sale thread & indicating which sized tyres have been fitted as they look oversized for a Z , more a 3/4/5 series fitment

Hi, No the cars on 19's at the moment but I'd prefer 18's for a slightly better ride. The NSF tyre has caught the arch too.

The wheels I posted the picture of were on ebay but have now sold, the seller wasn't sure of the offset but later confirmed they were ET34/47.

There are some 18" E46 "MV2" wheels on ebay with ET40 front and rear which from a little reading this evening should be fine for the Z4?

I think you'll find they aren't genuine BMW MV2s!

Even on E46s the OEM MV2s were staggered the same as on the Z4 - so 8J x 18 ET47 front and 8.5J x 18 ET50 rear (my nephew has those sizes on his E46 Sport).

8J x 18 ET40 should fit fine, but if they aren't genuine that may affect how much you want to pay for them.

Still hunting for some wheels,

I've now seen some 8J's with ET38 front and rear, which are local to me and cheap (£150) and seem a little different to the usual options. Will these look OK (fit the archs).

as someone has already stated, the proper size is et47 =front et 50 rear
you can fit something else if you like but depending on what you fit ON them will be the deciding factor of if they rub or not. its up to you

Based on what I've got on my car I reckon they would be fine so long as they are all 8Js and tyres look to be 225/40 X 18. If so the fronts will sit 9mm further out in the arches than OEM 18s like MV2s or 108s, rears about 6mm further out than staggered MV2s or 108s but they shouldn't rub.

Anyway it's good to see something different, and they aren't exactly dear!
