No, I'm not having another shiny moment, just thinking about what to replace the 206 with assuming it gets written off. It needs to be small and insurable for new drivers.

Thoughts so far (in no particular order)

Another Peugeot
Fiat Panda
Fiat 500
VW polo
VW Up
Suzuki Swift
Vauxhall Corsa
Ford Ka or Fiesta
Mini
Skoda Fabia
Honda Jazz
Audi A1 or A2
Toyota Yaris
Citroen C1, 2 or 3

Anybody running any of these with kids? I've had a Polo before and I know Ruby likes hers.
 
If you like the polo then have a look at the Seat Arosa.....same car different badge :D Stay away from the auto model tho :thumbsup:
 
I think it's tough to go wrong with a Ford Fiesta. My other half has had 3 fiesta's (being an Essex girl, her whole family own Fords...in fact I'm pretty sure here dad is disgusted that I'm going for a BMW....anyway, I digress.

They seem to be well kitted out, relatively inexpensive and reliable.

Both kids learned in a Fiesta so that's a high probability. Cheap to run as are all Fords, my S-Max just cost £208 for an intermediate service!
