Slight thread diversion, and sorry for the thick question but, how can you tell a wheel bearing is on the way out? I have a noise which I can't hear all the time that I think might be a wheel bearing going.

I Had this on my 3.0i,Steve..was a wheel bearing/wasnt too dear if i remember right
