What kind of leather on a 2005 Z4?

I was just reading some interesting posts on Roadfly regarding the types of leather there are. The 325's have "coated leather," the bottom part of split leather that has been treated with a urathane coating. Therefore it is recommended that one use a conditioner that is for coated leather, Z10 for example. Maybe this will explain why I've been having a white crud proem using Wolfgang's conditioner???

Anyone know leather is used in my Z4? My seats are the standard leather ones, not the M types.

I think the 2.5i is actually not leather. It's leatherette. I'm not sure what to use for that. I would think that it would overall be more durable though.

I've got leather, it's an option.

Well in that case, I recommend the Raggtopp pair of cleaner and protectant. I don't get any weird residue. The seats are pretty slippery for the first few days though (makes it easy to slide in and out!).

Pita bread is also very good with tuna fish, Monterrey Jack Cheese and hot peppers. Pop it in the micro wave for 30 seconds to warm it up first. Delicious.

I also have a 2.5i with leather. I use Maguire's leather cleaner/conditioner and don't have build-up or 'ick'. I love the stuff, it is easy-on and leaves a very pleasant, light scent.

X2......I just did my passenger seat and leather/mesh wind deflector yesturday - love that smell!!

FNI, we have too much in common, sweetie. I'm still convinced you are a long lost relative or something  I'd hate to ask how old you are for fear that you might be out of my dating range and that would ruin this too-fun-4-wordz online flirting, LOL.

I also have the BMW mesh wind deflector, but if that is what you have, it isn't leather, it's vinyl.
