Scissor jack available off the internet of at the counter of a breakers yard for £10, If all it's for is emergency roadside.

Zip tie it low down in the front engine bay and forget it. Brace in the battery well.

Had that set-up for 5 years.

Proper 3 tonne trolley jack fo home use though.

If it's helpful, scissor jack from a Mark III golf fits into the jacking mount thing under the car - I've used that a couple of times on my Z (our other car is a MK3). Loads of them in the breakers usually.

As I remember (probably a yr since I've done it mind...), it kind of sits on the edge of the jacking point, which is square. So it's not quite the intended fit - but it definitely fit, was secure/stable, and didn't seem to be taking the weight anywhere it shouldn't be. (I used to have a KA and jacked it up in the wrong place once and stuff bent... so paranoid about this last bit!)

You will probably get a different low entry jack from somewhere...

I got that one because a) it's very light, and b) I have vouchers and discount from the seller...

I actually got it for my Abarth which is really low too...

If you don't want to spend money on another jack, just get some planks of wood to drive into to raise the Zed height...

A normal jack should work OK then... :wink:

Purchased a scissor jack from Halfords,changed all four wheels with it guessing £20 or less for it.it now lives in the boot.
