I regularly have a look on the County Traffic Police Twitter page.
Every day (honestly), there is a report about a driver being stopped for an unessential journey through the County or to the Lakes
Bad enough, but it is nearly always followed by they were also guilty of at least 2 of the following:
1. Uninsured
2. Disqualified
3. Speeding
4. Provisional license (in case of sole driver)
5. Under influence of drugs
6. Under influence of alcohol
Example from yesterday
Birmingham to Glasgow to pick up a Dior bag. Stopped at over 100mph, no insurance
The chances of being stopped must have increased 10 fold, are they thick? - no answer required
