What is 'tram lining'?

I've looked it up on thesaurus...............
Tram Lining or..............'Ditch magnetism'
The attraction to ditches adjacent to the UK poorly maintained highways as an affinity to sensible motorists who have purchased BMW Z4 E85/6 with tubular tyres with a stiff tyre wall that won't deflate when flat.............. :rofl:

I found the effect of tram lining more with hydraulic steering. The electric sytem tries to masks the effect with its electric wizardry!? I think!

I suspect the front end suspension geometry is significantly different between E85/86 and E89, anybody know if this is the case?
Hopefully the grass will be dry at the Midlands Meet and i can shine a torch into a few wheel arches, geek alert!!
