Hi folks.

Made a bit of a faux pa the other night and managed to hook my front bumper on the kerb whilst reversing into my driveway

Looks like I’ve only broken the bumper bracket along with some minor scratching - very lucky! Gathered the debris from the driveway and struggling to know what this is? It may not even be off the car, but wanted to check before I button everything back up again. Any ideas what is???

Sorry to hear about your misfortune.

It’s the air temperature sensor. If you look at the temp indicator on the cluster you’ll find it’s either ‘—‘ or stuck on the same reading.

You’ll find where it should go under the front bumper, in front of the nearside wheel.
