Whilst grovelling around in the passenger footwell installing Cruise Control wiring I found this thing connected to the wiring but hanging loose behind the trim below the glovebox. Does any one know what it is ?

Now that would be nice. How do I control the TTS (Time Travel System) ? I couldn't find any settings for this in Carly :?

Looks like the foo foo valve :|
The current status of the Foofoo Valve is impressive and forward-looking: an atomic-powered version is planned to be carried on the 2016 Dream Chaser shuttle flight from Kennedy Space Center. One of the flight crew, Payload Specialist Gorge Foosamos, will be responsible for the maintenance and deployment of this wonder of modern science, in the hopes that all mankind will benefit from having this extraterrestrial Foofoo Valve orbiting the Earth.

Saftval GPS tracker.. according to google

Ever get the feeling you are being watched :o :P
Now that is scary. Who is tracking me ?
I'm guessing that removing this thingy may be more hassle than it is worth. I assume it is wired in in such a way that just cutting it out will cause something to break,

IRC it will have three wires, live, earth and an antennae your best option if you want to remove it is to trace the wires and disconnect them where they tap into the wiring harness. Don't just chop through them.

If it looks any harder than that just tuck it back up and forget about it. Believe me if no one is paying the subscription they are no longer monitoring it.

Hope this helps

Like he says, nobody paying = nobody tracking. On the other hand it could be useful if you can find out who to subscribe to if you want use it

You need the hyper space upgrade for that. Waste of money, they put the button in the boot! You press it, car zaps off to a different dimension, leaving you stranded. - maybe it was intended for kidnap victims. :-D

Thanks for all the input. I had another look at the wiring and although not too complicated I decided I couldn't be arsed taking it out, so it has been tucked away safely again. And maybe it will function as a Flux Capacitor in the future !
