Not a button? Just a light I think.
If you open the passenger door, insert the key in the slot on the A-pillar and turn it, then this light will illuminate to tell you that the passenger airbag is disabled.

Live and learn. Must look if the ///MR has one, never noticed it. :)

It’s the airbag light. Not on all models, my Z4M doesn’t have it.

It’s only on the lower powered 321bhp variants

Not on mine either, 321BHP models

So there are 2 power variants??? Please can you advise how this is determined? Thanks for your help Wayne

As far as i know the S54 in the Z4M has always been around the 338BHP. The only car that 321BHP was the E36 M3 EVO variant, i'm guessing the S50 engine

Oh I assumed it was a sly dig at standard 3.0i owners and the 3 and 2 were round the wrong way.
Anyway, my mere 231bhp 3.0i has this facility fitted, but I've not seen it on any other models yet.

Sorry, couldn’t resist. It was 1st of April.

All the UK cars had the same bhp but only some have the airbag switch

option S470A , come with ISOFIX system
it seems that all US cars have it, it might be a mandatory hardware in the US

Count Type Steering Ratio
325 M-COUPE (EUR) LHD 18,93 %
186 M-COUPE (EUR) RHD 17,63 %
1815 M-COUPE (USA) LHD 100,00 %
324 M-ROADST (EUR) LHD 22,74 %
165 M-ROADST (EUR) RHD 17,90 %
3042 M-ROADST (USA) LHD 100,00 %

I think it may have become standard in the UK some time in 2007 as all the later facelifts seem to have it - my 57 plate 1 Series did too.

Yes,it does have buzyg.
Have my passenger front airbags switched off when taking my son out in it,in his car seat.

Ok, well I'm off out for the day in the ///MR shortly. I will try and remember to take a brief glance. :)
