What is this, and how do I replace it?

What is this wee thingamajig, what does it do, and does the fact it is hanging off make any difference to how the car drives?

In case it isn't clear from the photo, it's the bit of rubber that hangs off the front of the car in front of the wheel.

Can it be easily replaced?

Its one of 3 front air dams and 2 rear air dams /spoilers

On the front there are one attached the front wheel arch on each side and a centre one under the front bumper..

They are designed to modify air flow and reduce aerodynamic lift at speed..

At over 200 mph your car may become unstable as a result..

They are easily replaceable..

Bit of a re-map and two SRBs and you’re there

I thought they were a air dam to deflect air and surface water from in front of the tyre.
Also one under car at front.
My cars are braking off, i assume not solid as....they could be broken off :?

I hadn’t entered my aerodynamicist phase…been fried by a Froggie the year before with 4 Cibies…youth is a splendid thing..
