What is this air vent foam?

Hi all,
I've removed the air vent unit from the dashboard as the first step of swapping out the stereo and I have noticed all around the back edge of the unit is a strip of some sort of foam. However it is rather crumbly and coming away from the unit. Does anyone know what this foam is for and a good replacement?
[apologies for the quality of the photo]
Rummaging around I have some of this from a DIY job I did, maybe this would be suitable?

My guess is to prevent rattling. I wonder if the sort of strips you get to seal fire doors would work? I think that's more of a felt than a foam, but may do a similar job?

the foam is a seal between the vent and the air duct from the fan.
I'm pretty sure the foam you linked is far too thick. The OEM foam is very thin strip just to fill any air gaps as the vent gently slides into the air duct

I used some generic foam strip from years ago when everyone had wooden windows and you stuck it in the rebate.

(I don't think it's worth getting carried away with it tho as I've just noticed that the front of the vents rattle far more!)
