What is the best car you've ever driven.....

Real world best car driven was my 2001 Subaru WRX thrashed for 3 years and 90,000 miles and never missed a beat.
I had a Mitsubishi Evo, I feel really sorry you "scooby boys" :P :D

Mine is the BMW i8. I had one on loan for a weekend from the garage and did a trip down to Whitby over the North Yorkshire Moors. The same route Clarkson did a couple of months later on Top Gear. Such a special car, handling especially in sport mode which is effectively 4 wheel drive. The looks it got when driving at snails pace through Whitby will never be forgotten. Wanted one ever since and hopefully one day will get a chance at owning the Roadster version.

They’re depreciating like a refrigerator off a cliff - so seems doable! 😀

I drove a family Friends Ferrari California and and my brother in laws Aston Martin DB9 two years ago when visiting them in San Francisco back to back for about an hour on the highways touching 120 mph in both. I would of taken the Ferrari all day long which surprised me as I’ve never been a huge fan!

can I say 2?

My E46 328i, it was a shed but was the most combatable place to be, and felt fast and unique.

My neighbours SWB ISUZU work truck / mini tipper. It is a bag of bolts and I almost out fuel in the coolant tank (trouble ID'ing the fuel filler) but I love driving it and the seat position (High up)

Back in the late 70's i past my driving test.
Was working as an import clearance clerk.
A German car sales company was importing Stingrays into European. I would do his paperwork and Transit documents
From USA to Felixstowe and forwarded to Germany.
The cars were de-vanned in the ports ICD (Inland clearance depot). To save on storagge charge's (Expensive) i offered to
collect and store in works car park. The German guy added to me to his business insurance policy :D I was 17/18 years old.

The recently built dock spur road was a nice dual-carridegway that leads from the port back to town and the high street.
A teenager running down the high street and along the sea front in a Corvette Stingray :o

You can pick up one for around £60k already and they were £127K new. Not to everyone's taste but to drive they are fantastic.
PS Not sure what part of your Zed is Amarone but that is definitely my favourite wine bar none.

Don't laugh a mini metro GTi, I imagine a very similar experience to driving an original Mini Cooper, basically a very fast go-cart, great fun.

I remember those, couldn’t you use pretty much any Metro key to get into one?
