What is it that you like about your Zed?

The light weight, the torque, the unique coupe body. Mine's a city daily driver, so I have to mention the great mirrors and maneuverability - a far cry better than my old Tiburon V6.

The styling and the great Coupe shape!... can't stop looking at her
The engine sound... puts and smile on my face every time I start her up
The fun drive... forever looking for an excuse to take her out!

I think the drive on Sunday answers that for me. I love the way I feel at one with the car. It does everything I ask of it, it's just so much fun to drive :)

Now i am with you on that. Love the back end, only noticed that at weekend cos i was behind everybody else :D That big bonnet and sharp lines, roadholding and the sound :)

The smile it puts on my face every time I drive "progressively". You really do seem to synchronise with the car.

The fact that it's a bit of a "Q Car"

Third gear

The wide arches and squat back end, the sound from the flat six especially when in sport mode :D The seats and driving position. How it shines in the sun  the way it makes my heart skip a beat when i see her (sorry that was for the wife) The standard whip aerial

Rusky, it's a straight / inline 6, not flat :poke:

But everything else  8)

Over and above ... all of the above ... some little things I like:

* the subtle 'infra-red' light that shines down from near the rear-view mirror onto the gear lever ... gives a cool Batman glow at night

* the minimalist interior aluminium trim - uber functional driving focused. Zero clutter

* the flaming ........ convex / concave / point of inflection / pure math

* my wheels: M double-spoke style 135 ... and that the rears are wider than the fronts

* pressing the BMW logo on the boot to open it (OK - other bimmers do this too -- it's cool)

* the seats: look where they are /// almost on top of the rear wheels! It's a go-cart. And such cool seats too.

* not carrying a spare wheel!

* the PHAT MAMMA M steering wheel

 doh!! you are absolutely right, thank god i got the right amount of cylinders and the inline sounds even better

Hey, whats the red glow all about?, mine already looks like the bat car this will just make it even better, roll on Dark Knights

I think it is called 'submarine lighting' - there are two orange LEDs recessed in little square holes in the dome light fitting above the rear view that shine down onto the gear stick and centre console. Brightness changes when you adjust the brightness of the main dash display when the side or headlights are on. I love it as well - cool little feature that adds to the cockpit feel at night.

The look on my mates faces the first time each of them had a ride. Instant hairdresser jokes when I bought it, then cold sweats and huge grins once they had a spin, felt how much poke it had and heard the epic sound. :-D

The pre facelift round rear lights and wide back end as well, I often find myself just stood looking at it for ages.
