What Is Everyone's Favourite BMW

e9 for me.

I'd be more than happy with any spec, but a Batmobile CSL would be as good as it gets!

Found a Nice column on the 635 8)

Do still love the shark nose BM's

and for all those. Speculators who dream of their Zed being a nice little earner over the years.

Sell up and buy this quick. IMHO you really could make some real money on one of these. 8)

Totally biased but this is the Z4 Forum, so mine for sure!

Otherwise an M635Csi would be OK!

I do like the 507 and the Z8 and Z4 (e85), but I think the M4 coupe is stunning and the best design since bangle left

E60 M5, with and Eisenmann exhaust!

It's a shame they have so many issues otherwise I would definitely buy one in the next few years.

For me looks wise it has to be the Z8, then followed by the Z4MC. I couldn't quite afford the MC, but I'll settle for my Z4C!

My favourites are mostly from the 70's,when the German marques were aspirational vehicles and not often seen in the far north of Scotland.
So,in no particular order,
E3 3.0si
E9 3.0csi
E28 M5 with badge delete and no bodykit
E30 M3
There's also a 3.3li that I also like the look of from that era.
Interiors of the early cars are not the most exciting now but compared with the hum-drum home produced stuff that was around at the time then I'm sure they were luxurious and sporty. The styling of that time with the slim pillars was fabulous and the "batmobile" was very extravert and had very desirable bucket seats....also available in the csi no doubt.....Scheel??
Had the opportunity to buy an E28 M5 a few years ago but was "frightened" of the running costs/potential bills and let it go.........regretted that decision a few times as it was up for £5500 and would be £20K to buy now.
E30 M3 always had fabulous write-ups back in the day and is still considered a great drivers car now but I went the Merc 190 2.6 route.....had a sportline manual and an auto
If it was to be a modern Bmw then I'd have the Alpina version of the 3 series as a touring and with their tweaked diesel 3.0.......huge overtaking torque and pretty good top end for a diesel.
Gonna be a few desirable Alpina's,Hartge, etc, etc that I'd want but that'll do for now.

my faves are as follows....

purely aesthetic... or general dream cars...

1. M1
2. e9 csl (green paint and all wings ect)
3.bmw 507
4. e30 evo sport

driven or owned/owning now

1. e34 m5 3.8 (byass)
2. e30 evo 2 (not owned but driven)
3. e36 m3 3.0 (owned and crashed)

i currently have the z4 as a daily which i love and has blown me away but i m oldschool at heart and have this in the lockup awaiting spring/summer owned it since 2005 my baby, pride of joy and passion, ring weapon and general dream car and last hand built M DIVISION legend.... e34 m5 3.8 in calypso red metallic grey alcantara unmarked interior
