What is enhanced blue tooth function

Hi all, I collect my car at the weekend and it has the above with a fairly standard business CD player, what exactly does this mean. Can I pair my i phone and play music via Bluetooth or is it purely for making calls etc. Also do these come with an aux in socket anywhere, I meant to look but forgot.

Later Coupes (~late 2007) have a 3.5mm jack socket for the aux in, mounted on the underside of the panel above the ashtray (under climate control), and when you cycle this inputs on the head unit you'll get to "aux". If it's an earlier coupe then it may be possible to retro fit the socket.

Bluetooth on Z4s of this generation will only do phone calls via the bluetooth (the electronics systems are basically E46 vintage).

Ah ok thanks, it's an 07 plate Si so might have it or not, do you know if the standard unit will play MP3 CDs or is it music only, the one in my SLK plays MP3

Yes, all original (black) head units in the Z4 coupes should play MP3 - only the earlier convertibles with grey fronted head units don't.
