what is best handsfree / streaming solution.

Hi I just picked up a 2005 3.0L Z4 which has business radio with 6 disc changer.

I would like a good handsfree mobile device, the ability to stream good quality audio through the stereo would be a bonus.

My requirements:

* Sound to come through car speakers
* Good quality phone calls both (ie both sides can hear clearly) during most driving conditions
* Acceptable volume to overcome road noise at up to 50mph
* Voice operated calls
* Discrete ie doesn't look like a carbunkle in the car
* Any audio being played through the stereo to mute
* The ability to stream music from my mobile into the head unit with good quality (not direct to the speakers)
* I noticed that some accept USB, if so, the ability to select tracks from the head unit and if they have a FLAC decoder that would be even better

Can anyone make any recommendation?

I'm using an mpow Bluetooth dongle attached to a 5v adapter dongle attached to an oem ipod cable which replaces the cdc.
Using my sh!ty old iphone 4s to stream flac files using Onkyo HD player, flacplayer and tunein radio. Phonecalls work fine. Music sounds tiptop through the 'hi' system i have (amped).
Only issue is that i get an annoying screen on the satnav which i cant get rid of when using the mpow dongle. No biggie tho as i dont use the clunky satnav.

GROM Audio do some nice kit. Have used them in various cars, and they are certainly discreet ie invisible, and use original steering wheel controls.
Have not tried one with a phone though so not sure how good call quality would be.

haven't got time to find a better link but you should be able to find a UK seller or at least much better shipping cost.
keep us updated if you find something better... I'm going to be looking for a similar solution in the new year. sick of cd's all over the car!!

I've used a parrot unit in my smart for years. Model mki9000 sound was excellent.

Should tick all your boxes.
