What I don't like about the 35iS

I thought that but in this one:
35is08.jpg
just looks kinda neat as an echo to the silver eye brow (if that is what it is called) on the headlights...
 
Buy some stock mirror covers and have them painted.

Sell the silver ones on Ebay for a profit to a non iS owner who wants the bad.

Profit.

...or keep them for when you sell the car, as the buyer might expect the iS to have them
 
Love red cars to bits, tend to forgive them anything.

But totally agree, would be my first mod to get them painted.
 
Don't really understand those mirrors either!
Overall I'm a bit disappointed with the look of the 35is! Like the Z4M, they could have made it look more muscular compared to the standard one! :?
 
the mirrors are a rip off from Audi's 'S' models, they used to (not sure if they still do) have chrome / silver mirrors..
 
Seen a Volvo C30 recently, think it was the t5 and it also had silver/aluminium mirrors. I think they look ok, but I guess it depends what you associate them with!
 
More than a bit Audi-esque, but WTF: they look kinda OK.... If I do decide to get one of these (and there would have to be kinda £4-5K off list for me to get a new one), I certainly wouldn't be losing any sleep over 'em anyway :D

The mirrors are a nod to the styling of the Z8

Gosh, that Z8 is beautiful. It's an itch that's refusing to go away, and one of the few cars I'd swap mine for.
