What HPI Check?

I'm looking to HPI check a car I'm looking to buy but what should I be looking for?

I Googled HPI check and quite a few came up but is one better than another?

I use my car check. For a tenner it gives you most if not all the information you need...

As well as an hpi check I would consider an MOT STATUS CHECK It is free and it will verify the mileage on past MOTs and tell you of any failures or advisory notices since 2005.

So the difference between Gold and Platimum is just the insurance?
