What hose at m54b30

Where that pipe/hose goes. Witch is under that plus cablepoint?

I have plenum and need to know, can i "delete" that?
That m54 own intake is crappy for the boost. I tried to google but no result, that plenum need to do same modification as a m50 intake. But that one hose? What i do it?

If you mean the big hose that goes into the bulkhead, that’s the sound generator. It performs no function other than port sound into the cabin. I think it was standard on the 3.0, but optional on other models (I’ve seen 2.5s with and without). If you want to delete it, I’m guessing you’ll need the non-sound generator version of the intake hose, or find some way of blanking it off.

Ok. That mean I can take away all unnecessary hoses, icv/ccv and install the plenum, then put silicone hose straight to the throttlebody. And handle idle with maxxecu.

What purpose is that sound generator? Nothing?

It just transmits sweet intake sounds into the cabin, which equals 30 bhp, over 40 if you remove the foam inserts. :roll:

yes i found couple video of that tuning

I think that sweet intake sound is way better with 1Bar boost
