What have you done to your car today?

This weekend on the 2.5, changed the rubber boot that connects to the throttle body, and also a pulley on the drive belt. Took it for a spin. Washed it today.

Washed the car after a Dartmoor drive today, weather was lovely. There is a little green bit under the rear window that is a sod to get rid of, I usually keep it at bay in the summer but this winter I can't get rid of it. So, out came the Miltons, not had much success in the past but gave it a try, scrubbed it with a little running water and the muck that came out, all over my nice clean car, so gave the whole roof a good scrub, again loads of muck. Honestly I wash the roof every time I wash the car, so waiting until it dries to see the result. This summer after a clean and dye with Renovo I will give it a seal as it might keep it cleaner. :)

Did some electrical tweaking to add an ignition controled junction box, so now my cigarette lighter is ignition switched, I also swapped out the aux socket for two USB Cs (saw it here), and then ran a third USB C up through the vent for a removable Android Auto screen (just mounts via two cheap phone mounts)

Added a bluebus, and wired in an electric rear mirror (for dashcam and Reverse camera (to be done later)). Will need to neaten that up later as I'm waiting on someone to give me an adapted own mirror mount.

Did Carpro Dlux ceramic treatment to exterior black plastics (door mirror mounts, front grill, scuttle panel), top of dashboard and top half of door cards - all darkened up nicely - and did leather feed to seats. Poorboys natural look dressing to all other interior surfaces, Honda Shin-Etsu silicone grease to all rubber seals.

Bit of a headlight polish here….. they’d begun to deteriorate last summer, so a little bit of polish and a DA polisher and it seems to have tidied them up no end.
