Click on your name at top of forum page and select user control panel. Click on board preferences and set date format . That should work

Thank you! I thought it was a bit odd... all sorted now

Am I being divvy or is there no way of telling how recently someone posted a reply?

Anyway, I've just found this thread and all I can say for today is:

Still hunting down the source of my parasitic draw

Typical culprits are aftermarket accessories (e.g. dash cam), center console bulb that stays on or the OEM Bluetooth module

I loaned it to a local YouTube enthusiast!

Have a look and see what you think? He's a Rover guy primarily but his other stuff is worth a watch. I like his humour😂

Finally got the car back together again after a hellish (everything out) audio loom transplant. Decided to brighten up the cabin while it was in pieces. This won’t be to everyone’s taste, but better than black, black, black. Car is Rubinschwarz if that helps explain the colour choice :D ).

Finally got this desperating work done :pinch: after all the thinking about which color to go with, I decided to go with a very conservative Foliatec's Carbon metallic.
It's interesting how a phone camera can't get the color right...

Replaced the water pump, thermostat, and upper radiator hose after a sudden coolant leak. Turns out the pump wasn't even pumping anymore, and the hose had a hairline split in it after a pressure test. Made sense to do the thermostat at the same time while I was there anyways.

If your water pump had expired I'm amazed it didn't overheat, although maybe that was what caused the coolant leak?

My first E86 went way into the red on a December evening when the pump died.

Yeah, first noticed coolant level dropping, and also had it creep up towards the red after that.
Way longer version of what I noticed: https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=152341
I count myself lucky I got it back to my garage and got it all fixed without any issues!

New fogs & sprayed the bumper beam

Finally got my hands on some (very reasonably priced and decent-for-age condition) 'style 106' "turbine" wheels, this makes me very happy as my poverty 104s were just too...poverty. I'm not sure if they're on here, but huge thanks to the member of the local Z4 Facebook group for alerting me to them.

Unfortunately the tyres were rubbish, the front two were the wrong size (215/45/17 rather than 225/45/17), and the rear two had really bad wear on the insides, so they didn't go on immediately. However, I put them on last night as I had the car booked in for four new tyres (Bridgestone Turanza T005, non-runflat) today. And it just looks so much better, especially with my 15mm front/20mm rear spacers.

New tyres fitted today, am super happy with this. Turbines on a black Z4 just looks right.

After 10Kkm i have replaced brakes and brrakes pads. i dont belive it :( the brakes are twisted ! But Z4 is lightweight car.
Original i have had Brembo High coated perforated and brakes pads Brembo then Textar.
Now i have chosen Zimmermann perforated and new brekas Pads also Zimm. For me is intersting the Zimm Pads are bigger like Textar.
