Yeah, I agree Dubbedown, moving the caliper inward would be an issue when installing pads since the space would not be equal anymore.
So glad you were able to identify these as ZCP rims and that being the difference. I did notice that these rims were 8" and not 8.5" width. Since these are ZCP's and 18mm spacer should still give me tire clearance, right? As opposed to 18mm on a CSL wheel would be pushed out further.

Finally got my car sorted. Heading down to track this weekend. Forecast shows rain so switched to my street tires. Will take closer photo of spoke clearance but I confirm no spacers needed to clear Porsche Brembos with stock rears (18x9 et30).

Rocking those McDonald's colors, good contrast, good look! Those look like my stock rims with a 225/45/ZR18. So no spacer on the front or no spacer on the rear?
 
hi all, just got my z4 2006 cabrio, 150,000 miles, engine transmission - great, but inside - needs some work. It's Left hand driver (LHD).
The parts I want to replace are:
- Right hand head light with power pack
- Transmission tunnel finisher brushed aluminium (manual shift) - or FULL inside finishing
- windscreen scuttle panel (plastic, under wiper blades)
- Pop up display surround
- plastic cover for passenger seat (missing).

Will be searching on e-bay, but let me know if you have other ideas where to get these items. I live in Staffordshire, UK. thanks!

Running 255/40-18 on all 4 corners using 2 sets of rears. Fronts no spacers, wheels clear brakes and sit perfectly flush after dialing in some camber. Rears have a 15mm spacer but purely for aesthetics.

Got it through its MOT, which is impressive given I am România and the car is in Scotland! Dad checked it over beforehand but turns out it needed new lollipops and ARB bushes but given they were probably original and now 20 years and 90k miles old and only a few quid to replace, it was worth it.
 
After a certain amount of friendly banter on Saturday at the AV8 Cafe, I had an hour under the bonnet...

Hard day behind my Flex today, it’s a fantastic machine but it is more tiring than a non-force driven machine - aching everywhere :rofl:

I've also been looking for the pairing code for my newly acquired 2008 Z4 3.0is. 'Had the rear speaker cover off twice, removed the speaker (waste of time) and had others with younger eyesight look for it - no luck seeing even part of the elusive bluetooth sticker with the BT emblem and code(?). BMW USA had no answers... Any suggestions from the gallery???
