What have you done to your car today?

Really like that pic, particularly where you can see the internal reinforcements under the bonnet where the heat from the engine hasn’t worked quite as far through the panel yet. Must have been good fun

Got my new to me callipers/ carriers back from the paint shop! 😀

Nice colour Jock, I’d double check you’ve got sufficient running clearance though as it looks like they’ve painted everywhere

Stored my car not too long ago, but I put on new Spyder headlights, maxton design front lip, and new PSDesign short shifter.

Had to get my coolant system flushed after some Albanian crook pured engine oil into the reservoir while I was round the back talking to his mate about the battery. It took my Indy three goes to clean it out properly so god knows what was dumped in there. :x My 'cracked cylinder head' is absolutley fine btw. Sadly it is not an uncommon scam - just wish I known about it beforehand.

What the feck?! Why would they do that? Were they coming to view the car to buy or just posing as car enthusiasts? Never heard of this!

Yes, they were viewing the car from an AT advert. Between all the tyre kickers, scammers and timewasters I would have been better off going to WBAC :(

Try motorway mate. Got a much better figure than wbac for my old car. Don't have time for exactly what you've experienced! I'll never use autotrader again

Car has done over 100k miles so Motorway not interested. WBAC prices pretty strong (on email) but they do chip you down quite a bit for a couple of stone chips

It’s a pretty common scam (sorry OP); oil into the Coolant when you’re not looking then hack you down on price when smoke billows out of the exhaust.

Took it for a spin and grabbed a quick pic in the low winter sun......

Managed to get my hands on a black roll-cover for the boot of the coupe as well as two panels which were a pain to find: the top-covers behind the seats specific to a coupe, in black.

All other plastic trim items can be taken from both a roadster and a coupe, but these have holes for the roll hoops in the roadster, whereas they’re completely covered in the coupe. So it took close to three months to source a pair without selling a rib, a kidney and a few teeth to the dealers. The hunt for more continues…

Just remember the old lady who swallowed a fly.

Oil and Filter changed

Back on its wheels and driven out the garage and back in the other way round.

Next weekend new spark plugs and valve clearances to check.
