What have you done to your car today?

Very nice . Did you happen to weigh them ? I just wondered if there is much difference in weight between them and stock ?

What brake lines have you got / getting for them ?

My set of scales don't go big enough there is probably no difference in the stock and these with the steel brackets etc.

I am ordering some Goodridge -3 600 stainless steel PTFE brake hose and some fittings as the old ones even though they where Goodridge they are a bit too short to be safe to dive it more then to turn it round in the street.

Had fish and chips in it. Even used both cup holders.
Parked up next to the last resting place of Gwenllian, last princess of Wales, in deepest Lincolnshire !
That is so touching. I didn't realise her final resting place was known.

Rocker cover gasket done

Lunch break. Nipped out and fitted the foot-well LED units I got off eBay.

Love it when the cut outs are there already and the looms are just tucked away ready to use.

Second simple fix of the day!
Gear lever surround wouldn't stay down properly. Discovered one of the metal spring clips missing and was hoping i could find one through the 'wanted' ads.
Then had a brainstorm: went back and rummaged around with a telescopic magnet and came out with the clip.
Woo-hoo. :D

Exactly what I have done. The B4s are excellent, enjoy.

Fitted another Z4 keyring onto my newly reactivated (thanks to the forum) spare key. Keyring was £6.30 off ebay. Bargain!

Apparently the old stuff wasn’t completely shot, however the car is now seriously confidence inspiring - corners flatter, instantly settles after bumps, and seems less inclined to trouble the traction control hoofing it on rough surfaces. Ditchfinding tendencies also seem to have been cured which is nice. @Petahgreen - saw your car (again) at RBM with a tidy silver Z4MC on CSLs on the lift too

Got mine serviced plus extras

New plugs x 6
Gearbox oil
All filters and engine oil
Ruined exhaust bracket drilled out and re clamped (4 hours).

£485.00

Coolant leak due to crack in expansion tank. Expansion tank replaced (£250 by my local Indy)
Is that a common failure for E85/E86s or have I just been lucky?

Pair of new Conti Contact Sport 5s on the front wheels yesterday, new rear springs and ball joints and MoT the day before, today a four wheel alignment at FCM Wheel Alignment in Bristol, saw them recommended on the forum, a really good tip. Very happy with the result
