What have you done to your car today?

Yesterday and today wet sanded scratches and panels gradually down to 3000 grit . Rotary polish next . Photos in reverse order as too knackered to work out how to move them :)

Wow, that’s brave. I hope it polishes up good.

Have done it before on a E91 which took ages so felt more at ease doing it this time . Whilst running a hose pipe over when finished everything looked ok .

Goodness gracious! You must have great balls of fire to do that.
Could the sanding not have been localised to the scratches? It must have been pretty bad to warrant the whole car sanding. That's usually an orange peel removal kind of task.

The car looked great from a distance but I couldn`t get it to polish up to the deep shine I wanted and could see on other forum cars . I could have just done certain areas but decided to do the whole car " carefully " . It is not something I would advise anyone to do if they have no experience as it can easily go wrong .

Rear brake pipes and oil service done yesterday. Cleaned today so should be all ready for its MOT on Monday afternoon 👍Now all tucked up in its new garage.

Cleaned the leather upholstery using turtle Wax cleaner and conditioner. As you can see from one of the pics it seems to work well. A good product but may need to dye the seats long term.

Replaced the radiator.

Didn't get any recommendations for or against brands, so picked up an EIS from Euro Car Parts for £48. There's an "up to 45%" sale on at the moment because of Football so it chose a good time to spring a leak.

No problems with fitment but obviously too soo to comment on longevity!

Fitted the sound generator to my 2.5. God it's loud, RIP to anyone who removes all the foam!

Also replaced the antenna base that I broke when trying to fit a stubby. £13 from BMW, cheaper than expected!

Suspension refresh time! Suplex, Bilstein and Lemforder all around

Hey, which bilstein kit did you get and what was the total delivery time? I have been ringing around to suppliers and all of them are waiting on Bilstein who seem to be massively behind. Same goes for KW.
