What have you done to your car today?

Test fitted the 313's to see if I like, and I LIKE 😎 they're now away for a powder coat and diamond cut.

Not today but got a set of Apex wheels from Pures3. Forgot to post a pic at weekend.20210626_155200.jpg

18” though? :|
Correct. Your point being I should put bigger wheels on to worsten the ride I presume.I have had teeth rattlers before, not persuing that route. I understand that 19's are generally better looking on the car.

Geometry set up done today at Tuned UK based in Wrexham https://www.tuneduk.com/. Richard and I had previously discussed what I was looking for in terms of set up and he checked over everything I had fitted suspension wise mainly for my own piece of mind before taking down the current set up figures . I mentioned I was getting a knock from the rear left which he found to be a slightly loose locking nut on the shock  Everything else was fine apart from the obvious camber and toe which made me feel much better and he then went ahead and did the " fast road set up " . When completed he took the car for a test drive and then I did the same and he printed out the before and after data . Very happy :D . If you check out his web page / facebook you can see that he has plenty of experience and I would definitely recommend him and on top of that he is a really nice guy . The drive home was great fun round the "twisties" so much better  Sorry the photo I took isn`t brilliant !!

Did the valve cover gasket (made sure to replace all the grommets too) and put in some new Bosch platinum spark plugs. Thanks to YouTube for all the guides lol! Previously had a little bit of a leak, and found a thin film of oil on the coil packs and in the plug wells.

Check out the leak on the left side!

Exactly. Better looking, possibly, perhaps, maybe, but definitely a triumph of looks over practicality.

Do you have any pics with the wheel on? Looking to paint my calipers the same colour and intrigued to know how it looks!

Here you go. It was a bit odd actually when I put the wheel on as the rear calipers sit so far inboard.

Ooh me likey! I have similar rims to you too, so really helpful thanks :D

After a couple of months on SORN whilst I attended to the MOT advisory I had back in September on the rear nearside brake pipe, put stainless braided hoses all round and clraned and painted the exposed hard brake lines, they came up as new. Been waiting to put heated seat pads in so following the brake line job set to and fitted the pads and installed the switches. After market kit from ebay, so switches that came with the kit were wired in and mounted either side of the gearstick trim. Jobs completed so today taxed it and had a short trip to refuel it ready for some trips out.
