What have you done to your car today?

I relocated the roof motor to the boot and here is my video to show you how you can do yours!

Excellent how to Debell, just a small add on for info, the wings on the parcel shelf are easily removable. Placing the clips back in can be done in the boot, to save having to trample all over the seats and trying to blindly find the clip holes.

Can I firstly say that when you first appeared on the forum, I thought you were maybe just here to promote your youtube stuff and weren't all that serious about the cars inparticular.
I would like to issue an unreserved apology for that right now!
This video is informative and clarifies a fair bit for those of us who considered the motor location a form of witchcraft known only to a few of the inner circle.
Well done, and thank you very much!

After clocking up 400mls over the weekend I think she deserved awash n wax.

Drove it to the Thorseby classic car show.
Some lovely cars there.

My favourite non-Z4 was this car that a chap had designed, based upon the McDonnell Douglas Phantom:

Your car with the the extended leather Is lovely, mines the other side in the shot

Went to fox my wobbly headlamp

Discovered I had the wrong kit :headbang:

Cleaned polished and lacquered headlights and sorted the peeling lacquer around the washer jets on bumper

Fixed roof wiring issue

Thanks Enuff, I love the Z4 and hopefully the videos I upload can help fellow zedders. I have done a few now including a basic service, I just need to wait for the next thing to do now, I might fit some door speakers as mine doesn’t have the upgraded stereo system.

Thank you Mark.
I really enjoyed the day, reminiscing about sitting in the back of my Dad's Mk1 Escort and Cortina plus looking at all the old car types I've had over the years. Sadly, I'm older than most of the cars there.

Same; +1

Brilliant video- as someone who took the dive to do mine 2nd time of ownership I looked at loads of videos before doing it- this one nails it! Spot on

oh and cleaned my water bottle out

what the actual....?

discovered new life form amoeba in there

Gave her a clean today. Then a drive up on Dartmoor and then another quick wipe down to get the fly's off before I tucked her up in the garage. :)
