What have you done to your car today?

Washed and cleaned. Switched silver metal pedals back to the standard rubber ones and fitted a Ram Air! Just not sure what to do with the attachment at the back that leads to the cabin...any help appreciated!!!

Idej_z4, nice clean engine bay you have! If the sound generator membrane is still there you could leave it as it is, without tubing probably doesn’t conduct that much engine noises. Or you could plug it to stop pests entering.

Dan, when i had an Eventuri i put something like this on https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Small-Breather-Filter-15mm-Neck-Size-Oil-Crankcase-Air-45x34x15mm-BLUE-CHROME-/302457252522?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286.
Helps give a more finished look to the bay, Obviously just need to measure up and make sure the one you buy will fit

Zedless :o
Rob

Yes bizarrely a guy who was originally interested in my E85 got back in touch about my E89 which I'd mentioned would be going up for sale soon when I had found a replacement 4 seater cab. So two gone in a week! :o

Be interesting to see the replacement choice & thoughts/comparisons with your 2 Zs

Sensible and practical choice for the next twelve months or so with some life changes coming so I've gone for a 4 series cab. I actually quite like it more than I thought I would. Feels more planted than the E89 did will less body roll and the roof being up or down seems to have less effect on the car.

Fitted LEDs to the interior door handles.
FYI, with door cards off, the brown (-) and green/white (+) wires to the mirrors are live with ignition.

Good to see the sun out. :D Took the Zed up to Kit Hill after work, for a warm through and to top up the tank ready for Saturday's SW run out.

Took all four wheels off, cleaned and waxed and painted the brake calipers. Then hard wax and a ceramic sealant on the body.

Fitted wheels which I bought from Mr Whippy and got powder coated.

Went from this:

I'm guessing these were the original shocks. Completely shot!

Put some B4's and Eibachs on. Meyle top mounts.

Rears to follow. Got to replace the battery bay because I spilled paint all over it.

Managed to rescue a headlight by plastic welding / hot stapling all four lugs back on. Not pretty, but effective.
