What have you done to your car today?

Finally did the Gear box oil, and it really was a simple as removing plugs, drain oil, refill and then torque up!

Mini write up on my Z4M thread!

Although after having a look around, shocks and suspension next, its looking pretty manky!

Gave it a proper wash and into hibernation...

Changed drivers door door brake. Changed the drivers seat back upholstery foam - what a pain and stripped out my door cards ready for new insulation and sound deadening mat.

MOT today

Passed! Only advisories were brake pipes covered in grease

Good wash and hoover tomorrow I think to celebrate! (The car not me...)

Got some Ground Control camber plates. Seem very well made, looking forward to getting them on! Didn’t get any import charges either which was a bonus (or just lucky)!

MOT today and she passed :D :D :D :D 1 advisory front offside brake pad wear which can be sorted later this year when serviced :D

Was a relief as i start jury service Monday so would have been a real pain trying to get the car sorted and re tested had she failed.

Started it up and let it run for a bit with the heater on full blast, as the inside of the windscreen had tons of condensation. Then mopped up the water in the boot again :headbang: really need to sort out where the leak is.

Can't do much else as the clutch is fried, so although it runs fine, it can't be moved without a push

Needs a wash, hoover and a cover on it for now. It's taking up valuable driveway space aswell, so I'll need to figure out what I want to do with it soon.

Have you check your roof motor. Water will make its way into the cabin and boot if its blocked? Could explain the condensation.

It probably is the drain holes that are blocked, causing the drains to fill up and overflow into the boot, as on both sides of my boot, those little pocket areas were full with water :headbang:

I'll have to move the car away from the bushes so I can access both sides and clear the drain holes and hope that sorts it. If not, I don't really know

If this isnt the problem check the 3rd brake light for cracks or chips and that the seal is good.water gets in here runs down the underside of the boot lid and drips out in the sides where the little cubby holes are.

Finally got round to fitting a Dash Cam that I recived for Christmas.
Took slightly longer as I lost a bolt thart managed to work its way down into the speaker trim!

Look like from photos that the drivers side rear brake line could do with being changed while it is easy to do, I can see the near side has been done already
