What have you done to your car today?

Been meaning to smoke test the Z4 since replacing the CCV system on the car, got around to doing it today using my home made smoker. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqIaYZ-a1l0
Also ran it on my Z3, glad to say both cars passed the test, no air leaks revealed.

Finished doing an overhaul of the front end bushes, new arms and drop links, and now feels nice and tight.

Was considering Bilsteins dampers and Eibach springs, but this feels great now.

Getting it off run flats and onto the PS4s has helped as well of course.

Hunter 4 wheel alignment tomorrow.

Does anyone have the CSL geo set up I could print out and give to them?

Nice coupes chaps. 8)

Service kit arrived today (oil filter, air filter and pollen filter). Going to do an interim oil change as I think the BMW service schedules are too long.

Have an annoying nick in the drivers door armrest, reckon previous owner had keys in hand when opening the door using the inside handle and stabbed the armrest causing a hole. It was annoying me as the yellow under foam was showing in the hole. Finally got around to using some Milliput Putty in black to fill the hole. Allowed it to set then sanded it down and cleaned it off using Back to Black. End result not perfect but now looking far better.

I had some rather tired looking 108s on so swapped them out for something a little fresher, then change over to the all black badges. :-D

Well after 9 years of ownership I watched it disappear down the road with a new driver at the wheel

However it’s not going far as my daughter bit my hand off when I asked if she wanted it so I can still drive it if I ever want to.

It’s not all bad news though as the reason it’s going is to make room for an e93 M3 :D

Veemann 18’s + Michelin PS4’s = :driving:

Suspension still needs to settle.

They look great. Definitely better than the Manharts you sold IMHO.

Thank you, I think 19’s are great on a coupe, but I definitely prefer 18’s on the roadster

Drove as intended through 50 miles of twisty back roads and washed it before putting it back in the garage.

Fitted bilstein b12 all round. Extremely happy with how comfy the suspension is, would definitely recommend. A big thanks to the people that wrote the instructions for removing the rear dampers, great help!

I had an essential shopping trip to make (to top up on red wine)!

My nearest Tesco is just over a mile away, but somehow I did a 27 mile round trip. :? :driving:

Missed a turn? It happens. Awhile back I went to town 8 miles. On the way home, I missed a turn and went around a dam mountain 50 miles on the way home  Boy was I mad  Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it - Glad you got your wine  We are enjoying a little Cabernet from Paso Robles CA USA tonight
