Bumper off for a re-spray while I was fitting new 2xcite headlights. Also painted a few bits and pieces while I was at it. Quite pleased with it. (Don’t know why it’s got those photos that way but you get the idea)

Brilliant  what LED's did you get for the brows?
When I did mine I thought the 'brow' lights were a bit unecessary so I blacked them out. I think it looked a bit more balanced without them.

I did think about doing away with the brow but I very rarely drive it at night so I’ll live with it for now. They may get the snip later.

Finally ditched the run flats after a year!!! Wow what a difference! No tramlining, the steering wheel isn't fighting to get away from me, I don't feel every single bump in the road, much quieter meaning I can hear more of that sweet straight 6. Very pleased :D

DISA Valve upgraded / changed (X8R Upgrade kit)

As others have said...

Pin was hanging out when inspected, the OEM adjuster might as well have been some wood jammed in for all the good it must have been (not) doing.

Portable Vice today......will most likely get used on the Zed.

Found instructions off you tube and added a front plate so can secure with clamps as required..... :D

Straight through MOT, Oil and filter, Differential Fluid change and one of those really cheap Pollen filters from a couple of months ago from ECP

I've finally started the lockdown paint correction project.
First session on the offside front wing, needed two passes to work the swirl marks out. This is going to take time, however being a sorn garage queen, I have an plenty of that. Menzerna 400 cut, 300 polish, plus 2 coats of double speed wax, then under a dust cover never to see the light of day again :D

Shows alot of promise, aiming for a Maldives Blue you could dive into.

Wow, what a difference, great stuff. My car is filthy at the moment. Might wash it today (if I find myself suitably motivated...)

Just fitted one of those petrol cap tethers as mine was broken since I got the car. Ordered from China, cheap enough, took a while to get here. It fits the cap ok however the tether part is a fraction under diameter in that the bit that is supposed to clip in tight doesn’t - i.e. it comes straight out which sort of beats the whole purpose of having a tether 🤷‍♂️ Not sure how I can fix it - might have to just get a genuine BMW one :)

I 'glued' mine with some black silicone RTV sealant

Finished RTABs at last. Christ they needed some torque to get them out! Along with the uprated ARB I’m excited to get the car re-aligned and stick Some miles on it!

Oh, and aligned the new bonnet

Oh my! A new ///M bonnet?! How much was that!! I thought they were like hen's teeth to find and mucho expensivo!! :o :?
One of my lockdown nightmares was that i had to write my car off due to badly damaging my bonnet and the unavailability of the ///M style. I woke up in a pool of sweat that morning! 🤣🤣
