You’re going to wash all the paint off that car! :P
Rob
Yes, you may be right.
There’s only so many walks, grass cutting, window cleaning, housework and shed tidying jobs you can do.
Is it time to go back to work yet😳
I don’t know how you retired people find enough to do.

The only difference being those lucky buggers that are retired were actually allowed out in their cars!

simultaneously I fitted upgraded Novsight LED bulbs.

Which model did you use?

Well you've got to add in the swmbo factor where for every job you get done two more get added to the list  . And then there's the G&T time, which is probably the most important  .

Hi. The version I found has a male plug not a female one? Where does the plug go? Into the original plug? Surely needs to be female the?

Any canbus issues?

TIA!

I ticked off another two jobs from my extensive list of things to do.
First job was install a Sprint Booster that I purchased from Mstyle. I know some people don't think they are worth having, but let me tell you that in RACE mode the difference is incredible :D With the car's Sports mode & DTC turned on the throttle response is amazing. So for me it's worth every penny.
Second job was to remove the pointless CDV. Easy to take off, but trying to get a spanner on the bleed nipple is real pain cos of the lack of space. I clamped the flex hose so when it came to bleeding three pumps of the peddle did the job. I got a cheep bleed kit from Halfords.

I love the sprint booster I have fitted to my E85. I know some think of them as snake oil, but then perversely rave about their factory fitted sport mode, that when it comes to the throttle does exactly the same thing.

Totally agree. For something that is plug & play it’s great + all the other features that come with it. And because it will work on plenty of other bmw models I’m sure it will sell no bother when I’m finished with if. After I fitted it I had to travel to a Halfords branch about 12 miles away to click & collect my brake fluid & bleeding kit & I was amazed at the throttle response. With my power flow exhaust system & GrouppeM intake the roar from the engine at 7000 RPM music to my earsšŸ˜

great idea to have a spare set of wheels for the winter. I put my Zed in hibernation for six months, but it’s a pain to keep checking the pressures & rotating them to avoid flat spots. Might try & pick up a spare set for the winter.

I drive mine all year (usually!) so my winter wheels have all season tyres fitted to them

Hello,
As per the picture they came with a standard H11 female socket in to which I simply plugged in the male plug dangling inside the front bumper. I bought a canbus resistor in case I needed it, but I didn’t use it and so far I’ve been dash warning free.
I hope that helps? It really was that simple. Good luck hunting on FleeBay.
Rick

Finally got the motor pulled out of the housing, but the wires and lines must still be trapped as I don’t have enough slack to pull the motor further out....

Surprised how new the motor looks - I guess it was changed before I got the car and the previous installer went overboard with cable-ties

Needed taxing yesterday; as my MOT has been deferred for 6 months decided to tax only for 6 months so the two still match up; plus with the state of the industry my job is in you just don't know what the next week holds, never mind 6 months.

Wheel nut chrome covers arrived in the post today, fitted this afternoon, looking better than the rusting bolts and better than painting them. ebay supplier https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/20x-Car-Wheel-Nut-Caps-Bolt-Rims-Car-Hub-Screw-Cover-Exterior-Decoration-17mm-SR/113755116410?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
