I’ll second that mine’s been broken since I bought it last year and bugs me every time I fill up

there are lots of options tbh.. I took the old one off to check how it fixed to the cap/flap and these match - even if they don't state e85/86.
Thanks - I just ordered one - free postage, happy with that. One of those things that also bugs me every time I fill up the car.
Bugger - that will teach me for ordering late at night/tired... of course that's for the E85/86 and I'm pretty sure totally wrong for an E89... oh well, cheap mistake.

Shines up well John, what do you use on it? :?
Rob

Just Autoglym Rob. I tried turtle Wax a few times, but Autoglym definitely has the edge on ease of use and both leave her gleaming. :D

Had you ran out by the time you got to the exhaust tips :poke: :P

No, I always clean the outside of the exhaust tips. The stock exhaust never has looked particularly shiny. :)

ZHP arrived so fitted that - 2 minute mods are the best!

Looking forward to taking it a spin soon to see how it changes things.

Also painted my calipers as they were looking pretty tired - ordered paint in Montego blue to match the body of the car - yet to see it out the garage so hopefully they look alright! Pics will be up once it's out.

The under tray put up a fight to come away from the original I used as the mould but it's out and trimmed just needs a bit more trimming and a bit of clear coat touch up but not bad for the first one

Can't been a shiny knob (insert any joke here). One of the first mods for me, replace the gaitor/knob, clean the steering wheel/controls with proper cleaner, and then valet the interior so that it's fresh.

Hahah sure can't! Planning on having some trim work done soon so might get them to make a new gaitor for me to match while it's in!

Also, as promised, car is on 4 wheels again and out the garage (well, it's back in the garage again since it's not being used) so took a quick snap with painted callipers. I'm pretty happy with them but not sure how long they'll stay that way! Excuse the overspray on the disc - my taping wasn't that good apparently!

Done the interior cleaning yesterday and gave it its second wash in a week and a wee polish as I'm waiting a few months before getting it ceramic coated :driving: Ooh how I wish I had 19" CSL's in bronze to finish her off :o 20200421_142638.jpg20200421_142723.jpg

That really does look sweet Jamie! The black roof really sets it off.
Patience, patience.... I've had to wait nearly 2 years to properly polish my car...

Fitted replacement passenger wing mirror .
The recent purchase of Si coupe arrived unseen & the seller hadn't disclosed the fact the wing mirror had been virtually destroyed at some point
First drive out i noticed a slightly wobble & on closer inspection it had clearly been "rebuilt" with a mix of screws , cement & then the housing filled with a tube of clear silicone :o no other way but source & fit a fresh one which has now been done & looking good as new .
Jeeeez!!! Cement? I've seen it all.

I have now ordered the (hopefully) correct tether with the ring attached:

Still nothing  I think it hasn't moved in 7 weeks now. Unsure whether it'll even start up

But it still looks good on the driveway, albeit covered in masses of dust :o
