Thanks MDUBZ, I too am a bit of a fatty, but “blessed” with girlie hands as you mention. I will give it a shot, swear lots and hopefully get it done

Even with girlie hands it’s one hell of a faff if you’ve not done it before. If you’ve got time to spare (I guess lots of us have at the moment....), take the wheel off, make your job a whole lot easier and learn your method for next time!

Oh and today I cleaned it for the first time in ages, finally de-greened the roof!!

Fitted the front spacers, now has 12mm on the front with 20mm at the rear. Wouldn't want any bigger fill the arches nicely

Also, when putting covers back on you should turn the seals round & smear a lot of vaseline over them. This will stop condensation getting in

Thanks Tug, sound like good advice. One has quite bad condensation at present I plan to clear it whilst fettling the bulbs.

I ordered a trolley jack a while ago which should arrive in the next couple of days. I decided to wait for that given the sage advice above to remove the wheel to make life easier....especially as in the current climate I’m hardly in a rush!

Looks ace, I have the same exact wheels and spacer sizes as you and it looks perfect with no rubbing too.

Fitted replacement passenger wing mirror .
The recent purchase of Si coupe arrived unseen & the seller hadn't disclosed the fact the wing mirror had been virtually destroyed at some point
First drive out i noticed a slightly wobble & on closer inspection it had clearly been "rebuilt" with a mix of screws , cement & then the housing filled with a tube of clear silicone no other way but source & fit a fresh one which has now been done & looking good as new .

I used Bigg Red, lots of good reviews on various forums. Premium black finish, cost £410 with free return delivery. Very happy with the whole process and finished product.

Had mine done by them in metallic cherry/wine red. Really happy with the finish and new seals and pistons etc.
Got my old one for sale if someone wanted to do the same.

Did you do an exchange wheel or did they upgrade yours.How long was the turn round if you sent your old one.

The alcantara looks good! Feels so much better, totally worth it.

I went for the wheel exchange, it took less than a couple of weeks. They send you the new one and you just send your old one back afterwards and they refund the deposit back.

Pretty straight forward to fit using the guides on the forum
