Poor Zed is clearly being neglected. :o

I received a text from the tracker this morning, telling me to put the battery on charge. Duly done. :thumbsup: Only the third time in 9 years that has happened.

WILL THIS SH#T WEATHER EVER END. :cry:

I quite fancy getting these too. The zed is going into the body shop as soon as I can find the time to fit the new wings. After that I'll probably order a set. Do you know if their front splitter is ok too?

They're still in the boxes lol. Been up to my eyes in work and can't get a minute to do anything.
 
Starting to think about bringing the Zed out from 4 months of hibernation prompted me to finally swap out the faulty mirror adjustment switch unit with one I purchased about 6 months ago.
Will be nice to be able to dip the passenger side mirror again when parallel parking.

got a bit carried away and fitted the fruity cables aux in socket that I brought in 2017, only taken me 3 years to install. Vents are a fiddle but a very easy job in the end.
Installed the socket under the hvac controls. Sounds great!

Gearbox output rubber drive coupling changed
Prop shaft centre bearing changed
Drivers side drive shaft re fitted

Couldnt find any directional arrow on either side of the tyre,any help to confirm if ive installed right way

Taxed it and drove it for the first time since last October, everything appears in order, which is nice.

MOT and service later this month. Then a mega detail session is planned in April. Headlight refinish, deep clean the engine bay, roof clean and a 3 stage machine polish, paint brake calipers and then fit some new rims.

All being well it'll be too shiny to drive because OCD reasons. :lol:
 
Another horrible wet day... so I spent it in the garage changing all the interior bulbs to LED, updating the maps and finally got my paws on a steering wheel with the newer paddle shift. Think I'll send it off for the Royal treatment!
 
Taxed it and drove it in the earlyish morning sunshine!

Took it out down the snake road, and into peak dist first run since oct 19, ( been outa the country)lookes like someone else had the same idea up at the moorlands inn owlerbar.

I decided to try and track down some creaking coming from behind the passenger seat (Any thoughts?) This entailed a few hours of trying to disassemble the carpet and plastics in the coupe without wrecking it.

What a fkking awful job. It’s going to push me in to new suspension and rogue top mounts as I never want to do it again!

End of May...really? :censored:. I'll unsorn mine tomorrow & can't wait. Weather's not looking too bad. 4 months she's been laid up under cover & on the Ctek. First time I've not even touched her for the full period :cry: . Hope everything is OK 🤞

Yeah MOT is due and due to me working away and currently doing a house up won't have time for it.

The yamaha on the other hand may get a few days out in that time :thumbsup:
