Passed the 1st MoT in my ownership. - I was sweating on a few things - pads, disks and tyres seem close to the limit, but it sailed through with no advisories! Tyres measured at 4-4-4-3

Coolant leak fixed by changing the temperature sensor.
Oil leak fixed by changing the rocker cover gasket.
No one ever accused a Zed of being cheap to run!!

Well it was yesterday now but I got some new wheels tyres. 3SDM 0.09 wheels, 18 inch staggered set up with some Vred’s Ultrac Vortis’s.

Fitted a rear diffuser to see what it looks like...... i like it!

Fitted a black vinyl cover over the BMW logo... work just had them lying abou so why not

where'd you get that diffuser if you don't mind me ssking? I quite like that! :roll:

I feel bad that it was only £12! I was in two minds about buying a carbon fiber version, but was unsure as to whether or not i was going to like it so thought for £12 this makes sense to see how i feel

Technically not done anything to it but booked it into https://www.tracktorque.co.uk/ to fit various bushes then set it up for 'spirited' road driving

Spent the afternoon at work, double checking I've got all the correct parts using realoem!

Anyway, bought car last week with 2 week till mot,
Yesterday and today changed front wishbones, drop links, arb mounts on front, today did both rear brake lines. What a pain to do in rain

Two Ali dash panels are now out, don’t think bmw wanted the long piece to come out too often!

Well I might have tried a Chinese special, but none came up when I searched. At a few pence over £40 I didn't think that was too bad, until I saw what it was made of!

I think it's because the Z4 ones are 70mm, and most other models have 82 or 86mm badges.

That looks nice actually. Do you have any pictures of it facing ahead directly at it? Just want to see the fitment.

I bought the carbon fibre version last year and it actually looks decent for the price.
