What have you done to your car today?

Today was time to get into see Nick at the Alignment Centre in Southampton for a session of making everything , tyrewise point the same way. He did say about giving the springs about 1000 miles to bed in , when I was there and was about 800 short of that. Only one way to sort that then 
Car was good. Rear toe in was huge, which he adjusted and also changed camber front and rear . Found the front wishbones rear mounts are showing their age and advised to change them to poly. So, need to get some miles on it and change the bushes and then pop down for a quick check up. Highly recommend his work . The drive back was 'very' smooth and the rear end did feel so much more on the road than skitty , which I had before.
Also changed the locking wheel nuts for new ones , whiich arent the usual splined type. Gave the car a scrub off after fighting the A34 and M3 with all the lorries and caravans this morning. :roll:
One thing that was found under the car doing the geo, was the rear diff to chassis bar, someone has bent it . Its going to be harder to straighten it that just replace with a second hand one. He thinks someone went off a kerb with it to to the bent markings.

Changed gearbox oil today. Used the miller's TRX SYNTH and have to say a good noticeable difference in all gear changes.
Also did the Cdv whilst I was there nd that 2, feels like I have a new car almost. Test drive was very nice.
Last mod today was the front number plate surround delete. Looks so much better.

After spending the winter in hibernation and the spring also, due to (what started as) a failed roof motor, I got round to going down the M5 to see Alan (number5) and get the roof motor fixed / relocated to the boot. Really nice guy and great service / price. Can highly recommend.
After being in dry storage, at work, today was the first outing in quite a few months and the car was filthy. Back home up the M5 with the roof down
and a good few hours spent cleaning, polishing and then finally trying the p&s beadmaker on the black paint.
Looking forward to more good weather and some roof down driving

This makes me want to fit my 230's now
They do look good imo. Easy to clean too, which is a bonus! I’ve got 10mm spacers on the rear and 5mm on the front and they sit perfect to my eyes.

Nick is a wizard. After 4 years of ownership and seeing him a couple of months ago, my car has never driven so good!

Same here, car felt much better after he had finished with it. Well worth the money.
