I just bought a set of these. Wanted them for quite a while now but it seems hard to get a decent set.

They are hard to find it took me a couple of months. I was almost contemplating buying singles at one point.

I'd thought about the singles route too. Glad I held off now. They look superb on your coupe.

thanks, I'm really pleased with them.

Did my first attempt at a quick paint repair job for the first time in about 20 years. Got some quotes from bodyshops for a front-bumper respray and they were ridiculous prices - tried about 6 different places and they all came back wanting 4-figures which is way higher than I anticipated.

Anyway the primary damage was to the driver-side front corner where someone scraped their car down the side of it attempting to park, so sanded, filled, sanded, primed, painted and clear-coated. Quite happy with the results so far but I still need to wet sand, cut and polish tomorrow.

Won't be perfect but the car isn't in A1 condition anyway so no harm done.

I took Zeddie the Z4M for a country road drive to warm up the engine oil just before flushing it ✔️, and the fitting oil filter ✔️ and 5 and 1/2 litres of fresh, golden, syruppy 10w60 engine oil ✔️
All ready for an early drive with our dog girl to the Derbyshire Dales for a lovely long walk tomorrow.

Put on refurbished 108 wheels and new m spec non run flat tyres.

The car feels transformed, I went for the m spec tyres for extra comfort, I think with non run flats I could have got away with the normal size tyre, I know subject has been done to death but I really couldn't see how different the car would be with normal tyres. I went for the Vredesteins from Camskill deal only had a quick run out but feels a competent tyre.

They look really chunky on 108's :o

Not a great look in my opinion, but the bigger profiles clearly serve a positive purpose, so that can only be a good thing in terms of ride comfort

Thought I’d tidy the calipers up since I had some silver Hammerite left over. Didn’t bother taping anything up or removing the calipers. Turned out canny I think

Today I changed the oil filter, 6.5L of engine oil (Castrol), air filter and cabin air filter as well as spark plugs. The Mann air filter fitted fine but the cabin one looked very flimsy compared to the OEM one I removed. I found the original filter fitted the wrong way round - wasn’t too dirty I might clean it and refit it as it looks sturdier.

Gave engine bay a clean - not a major clean - it was already spotless! 🤣

Plugged in Carly, checked for errors and reset service indicators. The oil change wasn’t due yet but as the last two years history (before I had it) is unclear I wanted to be sure. In a few months I’ll do brake fluid change and pads all round - I have pagid pads on standby already 😎

I’ll probably paint the callipers silver at the same time as they are OEM corroded and look crap!

A fulfilling day all round.

Now sipping a margarita in the garden 😎🍸

Not necessarily today but in the last few days its had a new windscreen fitted, passed an MOT and i've finally repaired the N/S wing mirror and after a clean and polish today looking much better! Heres a before and after :P
