Love the mirror caps, but could you share a photo of how they look from the other side, e.g showing the mirror glass and the edges of the cap? Thanks.
cheers the pics don't really do them justice as they really stand out against the silver . will take some pics tomorrow of the other side

sorry got them from a forum member so not sure of the original supplier - think they were ebay ones

Had these delivered today, managed to get them cheap on ebay. Thinking about spraying them sterling Grey to match the paintwork. I hate the brushed aluminum

I think it's will look good. Defo worth a go. I seem to remember a former member did his sterling grey 3-4 years back before he sold up. I've had a set here for a good 12 months or so now that I keep meaning to get around to painting titanium silver to match mine. Which I think will look pretty good, certainly better than the tatty scratched and pitted aluminum that most seem to be these days

Agree totally, I hate the aluminium too. However I got flamed for liking wood  I spent years saving up for a car without metal door caps inside and now they think its "cool" to have bare metal inside a car! Real cars have leather interiors and wood dashboards. :poke: :exitright:

I don't like the brushed aluminium either - that's why I was so pleased to find Cirrus aluminium trim in my current one!

Had new new facelift bumper filled and primed today.one step closer to getting her back on the road :D

Had thought about doing mine silver grey to match the body. But chickened out as I’ve no cabin rattles, squeaks or tapping, which is rare for any car I’ve had and didn’t want to risk getting any. Looking forward to seeing this. I’m sure it’ll add to an already sorted motor.

Cheers. But the cars not looking and driving well currently

The clutch slips after a while driving. I think it's the rear main seal leaking oil onto the flywheel/friction disc, causing the slip. It's manageable, but annoying. I don't do many long journeys, but I will be getting it fixed when it goes in for a service soon.

Also need to sort out the damaged left side (front wing, door and sideskirt). It drives me mad seeing the dents/scrapes.

Other than that, yeah she's OK

I think the 189's really suit the e85. You're the reason I got a set, lol. Albeit for when I'm selling the car.

Fitted a Saris Bones 3 to it, inspired by ChrisD's pics of his. I then took it out for a test drive/ride, works a treat and easy to store in the boot while riding. Just need to start using it more (the bike)🚲😁
