What have you done to your car today?

Love the car
Absolutely love the pictures
It’s a shame I don’t have a garage for pictures like that, the missus got the right hump when I went to replace our wedding picture with something bmw 😊
 think mine would do the same! Garage is my domain (aka this pic wasn’t allowed in the house!)
Pic is the orginal from dealerships when they were new.

Rust professionally sorted out on front wing yesterday. Today i cleaned all 4 wheel arch liners, did my best to scrub off tar from the exhaust tips and backbox and cleaned out the engine bay. Totally enjoyed that couple of hours, felt very therapeutic.

Fitted my filled in facelift bumper. Didn’t like the line along the bottom of the pre-facelift. Looked like a sad face. Loving this one though. My Da polisher comes next week, then it’s time to get rid of the orange peel. Should be fun.

You’ve done a great job  Really like how you’ve managed to modify the bumper to suit the pre-facelift lights :D

8) 8) that's really cool. The Facelift bumper definitely gives the rear end a wider look.

Thanks. First time painting with a compressor as well. I’m a happy boy.

Fitted replacement OE RTAB's with limiters and had it aligned, big improvement.

[ref]philipw[/ref], what did you feel before the 4-wheel alignment that you don't feel now, and the other way around?? I'm wondering if , at 31k miles, my z4m would benefit from one :?

A lot of Tyre places recommend a 4 wheel alignment every 12 months. Whether this is just marketing rubbish or if it actually is required is anyone guess.
