What have you done to your car today?

Passed its MOT with advisory’s on the front wishbones so had them replaced. Inspection 1, adjustable drop links fitted and a 4 wheel alignment done. :driving:

Interested to know why you fitted adjustable drop links. Have you lowered the Z a lot and found the arb alignment way off?
 
Too many cars on the drive since our son parked up his Mx5 and went off adventuring to NZ. So the Zeds been suffering a bit not getting her usual quick wash every time before I pop her in the garrage. So this evening after a bit of shuffling I pulled her out a started the Spring clean ahead of her Mot and Ins1 on Friday. Still much to do tomorrow, but a job begun, as they say, is half done. :D

Its should be a pretty standard upgrade when you lower any car. I have coil-overs fitted and i'm lowered about 30mm. The anti-rolll bar should have zero load on it when the car is sat on the ground, once you lower it the anti-roll bar is loaded all the time and affects its performance.
 
Had my roof motor relocated by bowser134 this morning, took him all of an hour, fantastic job.
 
Booked her into a local Indy (Prestige German Cars of South Shields) for brake fluid replacement. Dealership wanted £90 and getting it done for £50. Garage recommended by a forum member.
 
Continued the Zeds spring clean after work today. Boot and cabin now looking spick and spam, after a Hoover and a few hours with the baby wipes getting into he nooks and crannies. Made a start on the engine bay, but ran out of day light. Getting there. :D

I got my OEM CSL's fitted today along with new front discs and pads :)

Took it on a 75 mile round-trip - it reminded me how much I love it! :wink:
 
Everything ordered for its annual service this weekend or next, before a long road trip to Europe! Decided I'd give the dipstick oil extractors a go too, save having to go climbing under the car for a change.
 
Driven it in this glorious sunshine. Not bad at all for March. The zeds absolutely filthy though, not cleaned it for months. Maybe thats a job for later today or tomorrow. its just that I prefer driving it to cleaning it! 😜
 
As I had it out the garage to get to the lawn mower, it got a long overdue wash and wax.

Well it was yesterday I did it but I changed the front brakes and pads to Brembo that I got a deal on before Christmas . The quality of these items is superb . Hopefully tomorrow I’ll change the seats.
