Bought it. Ruby black 2.5i facelift with 82k made up with it!

Ruby black is such a lovely colour 8) in the sun anyway!

I wish I would've bought the ruby/champagne 3.0si that was on ebay last year. It was the perfect spec for me. But I waited too long and it went

Used Flash Magic Eraser to remove the annoying scuff marks on the interior. Came out really good!

Cleaned the throttle bodies of my Z4M Coupe... below the links to the "before and after" pictures:

Cleaning in progress, the four on the left have been cleaned, the two on the right not cleaned yet:

Close up of the throttle valves BEFORE cleaning - note the black deposit on the butterfly valve and the lower side of the intake:

The car drives like a (better) dream now! pulls really well from low down in the rev range...

(next job a new air filter - noticed BMW did not replace it when the car got serviced - for free admittedly, but still... )

Spent some time this morning pulling this out, not too much bother getting it out just fiddly at parts.IMG_20190324_150522.jpg

8) 8) I'm not a fan of black in general, but the red tinge to it is absolutely beautiful. Hopefully one comes back up for sale

It's a pain in the arse like. It was covered in dust an hour after I'd polished it

Removed my machine monkey exhaust tips and put my standard ones on. Fancied a change, although the standard ones look tiny now

Gave the big ones a quick clean up and they're lovely and shiny again. Unsure whether to sell or keep them, as it isn't something you can buy off the shelf

mines Ruby Black. Looks fantastic in the sun and after a mop and polish. Sometimes looks like a bronze tinge to it in certain light

Keep them I say, they look great!

See what you mean about the blob plate  . Plenty of plates on DVLA for £250 all in

I loved my Ruby Black Coupe when the sun was out - which wasn't often. :(

Anyway I put a deposit on a new companion for my Z4C this afternoon - an E90 330i with the rare split/fold rear seat option so I won't miss my E91!

For when one 3 litre N52 just won't do - get another!

That's just plain greedy. :D

And don"t forget the sun roof. 8)

Actually the E90 does have the electric tilt/slide sunroof (and auto-fold mirrors) so this summer I'll be able to get my head burnt like all you E85 owners!

Yes I spotted your other post Mr T  Happy summer. 8)

Replaced front control arm bushings with Polyurethanes. Much easier than expected and ride is greatly improved.

Just cleaned my z4... Ironically it's had the roof motor relocated by DLV by the previous owner

Gave it a coat of this, really impressed with it for the money

[ref]Attilio[/ref], good job
What is your engine's mileage?
While you were there, did you not attempt to clean the idle control valve? I hear they get quite dirty and causes issues at low engine loads at low revs
