What have you done to your car today?

ordered some Ruskin leather cream as recommended by mrwilks, as am fed up with a lot of the cream/balms that seem to make the bolster shine :x

Good stuff that , been using some Auto Finesse stuff that i was bought as a gift but the Ruskins is better imo
Tried it out today.
Seems good, and doesn’t seem to induce shine.
Didn’t buff it after applying, as not looking to create any sort of shine to it.

Replaced leaking headlight washer and xenon level sensor at the front axle. Need a new sensor plug now as the outer cover disintegrated when I took the sensor off.... will then swap front spacers back from 20mm to 15mm as was getting a bit of rubbing on hard compressions.

Just arrived before going away ;@)

Took it for a B road blatt with some SKCC friends from Blacbushe to Lasham airfield for coffee and cake. Impressed with the handling of the Z it felt planted with the new tyres and was keeping up with the 7s really well 😎

They look 8) 8) 8)

Got the gm5 back today and refitted it. I now have working central locking 8) the side effect to this is an airbag light on the dash now :| Any experts out there that can point me in the right direction to get rid of said light?

Had an hour or two free on the weekend so decided to enlighten the Z with some LED upgrades. The car has factory fitted xenon headlights and after owning the car a month or so I really felt the ditch water dull light emitted from the fog and sidelights had to go 8)

Well my 25 month old third brake light has decided it's had enough and has split, but not the typical way down the middle. Oh no, the whole front has detached from the frame on one end, so I've had to resort to duct tape all over the boot to hold it in place until a replacement is sorted.

I know it's only temporary but I hate the car looking so shoddy!

Tempted to just get a cheap eBay part if I'm honest, the BMW part quality on these seems pretty shoddy as it is...

Sanded and polished my headlamps, one of which had some nasty scratches on it from a car Collision.

Used the 3m kit again (I last did them 5 years ago) and they've came out great. Not perfect, but a strong 8/10. Considering they had faded/gone hazy, it's a huge difference.

Ghetto fix on the third brake light, pulled it out and used copious amounts of epoxy to hopefully hold it together. Ordered a £22 chinese replacement, not about to go paying £80 for a "BMW" part that has the same quality and falls apart in 24 months again.
