What have you done to your car today?

Went to the shops on the way to work and came back to see this badboy parked (terribly) near me.

To be fair it's no worse than your signature photo!

 yes, but I specifically went to an empty car park (B&Q/Costco overflow) to take photos of my car. I didn't pop into Sainsburys and leave my motor crooked :P

Bought a AUD $5 bluetooth dongle off ebay.

Surprisingly, it works! Now I just need to wait for my buck converter to arrive and nest all the cabling in with my other retro-fit stuff... I should probably tidy this up a bit better at some point.

What a nice idea that Z4 fuse card is!!
on my to do list already..

I think it comes with the car - I definitely didn't make it haha.

Can post up a pic of the inside tomorrow if need!

my miata surely didn't come with something like that, so this pic is already useful as an idea.
to be honest, never actually had to change a fuse in the Zed and also bluetooth Pioneer head unit came with the car
thx anyways

No worries glad to have been helpful in some way

removed the z4 badge from boot.
fixed windscreen washers, blocked filters.
safe washed and topped up with detailing spray.
all ready now for a wet weekend :x

Finally got round to removed that B*****D CDV valve last week, wow what a difference!
Had to also bleed to the clutch line as got air in the system, what a shitty job to do and its definatly a two person job to do, drives soooo much better now

Taxed it. Fitted a new red 3rd brake light as it had split at the edges. Fitted a new BMW boot badge which was a bit tatty to say the least. A great improvement to the rear end  . Looking forward to taking her out for a spin but won't be until Monday now :driving:

Have no idea what the car yard used for oil during their 'full service' after importing the Z4, so today I treated her to an oil and filter change. 6.5l Castrol 5W-30 Edge Titanium. Probably just as well I did, as the old filter (Ryco brand - cheap aftermarket version sold at auto stores) had compressed paper elements that looked like the whole body of the filter had twisted when the filter cap was screwed back on - imagine a sponge when you wring it out, but not quite so dramatic.
I still had a spare BMW filter from the E85 that I kept when it sold, so in it went.
Job done

I think my washers might be blocked. Pump is working fine and the reservoir is full but only a dribble comes out. How did you fix yours?

my mate who is a tech at porsche did it.
but it appears there are two filters down the bottom side of the reservoir that need taking out and cleaning, also emptied and cleaned out the reservoir.
sorry cant be of more help greg.

Just before i left for a break in Spain. I fitted a second hand ZHP gear knob. Nice shorter shift now. Also changed all interior lights to LED bulbs. Except gor the middle bulb in the overhead light. The supplied bulb is too big for the hole. Headlights being polished while i am away.

Bad pics but fitted a Maxton Design rear spoiler.

Not the greatest fan of Z rear spoilers though that looks both a perfect colour & very subtle mod.

Yeah I normally agree with that too, but it seems to fit with the slightly ridiculous colour wrap well.

ordered some Ruskin leather cream as recommended by mrwilks, as am fed up with a lot of the cream/balms that seem to make the bolster shine :x
