What have you done to your car today?

Splitter fitted, pretty happy! I look forward to scraping it along speed bumps daily

Looks good - which one is it? Any links? (Or is it the £10 variant that I've seen people mention on eBay - looks more expensive than that! lol)

Went over the car with a clay mitt, then treated it with a ceramic coating. My first time trying this, seemed to go well. Looks very sparkly now 8)

Hi kis - sorry not the best picture only got iPhone camera here’s the head light with just the sidelight on 047C2CAD-2220-4788-8A5D-87FCDCA842A9.jpeg
Like you say not exactly xenon but much better than it was

Cheers for that fella!

Yeah I think they’re a improvement but I’d want it just that tad more blue / white. Still got a yellow tinge to it. Will have to try out the ones I got from Halfords... only because I can use them elsewhere if I don’t like the colour and comes with something silly like 5 year warranty.

I’d agree with you, looks much better than a £10 job!

The eponymous Cupra R jobbie! Easy enough to fit too, just requires a heat gun and a saw/dremel to get it to fit.

About £45 from a VW dealer, got mine with the 10% discount a few weeks back on eBay from a dealer on there for around £40

Fitted new CSL reps( sore back now) washed and detailed using carplan no 1 gloss. Fitted s/s exhaust trim

Stubby Ariel
Try to sort out condensation in lights
Paint calipers / hubs

Finally replaced the original battery (10 years old) as I left the key in it overnight on Saturday, in the accessories position. Was completely dead Sunday, and when I put the battery charger/conditioner on it, I could only hear a continuous clicking noise and it didn't seem to want to take a charge. Well overdue for a new one I suppose, and it's an easy job with no coding to worry about on these cars.
I had to reset the windows, reboot the Dension and set the date/time, otherwise no problems

Have you considered a CTEK charger or the much cheaper Autoxel (mine)

AUTOXEL Car Battery Charger, 3.8A 6V/12V 8 Modes Intelligent Automotive Battery Charger/Maintainer for Vehicles With CC/CV Control for LiFePO4 & Lead Acid Battery of Wet, MF, VRLA, AGM & GEL (Black) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B076Q7CWV8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_leMUBbEH1AN5X

They have a battery recover mode.

I have a BMW branded CTEK charger, but at 10 years + old, and this is the second time I've run it dead flat by leaving the key on, I thought it was time for a replacement.

Fair play

Took the Zed out to stretch her legs today. Great run to the far side of Dartmoor and back in beautiful sunshine. Then a swift clean of the wheels and skirts before tucking her up again. :D :driving:
