They are already up for sale elsewhere but i havent listed them here as the front numbers could be a struggle for Z4s that are lowered
They are reps with no splits , buckles or repairs & fitment numbers are all 4 x 8j et 22 /
front rubber 6mm 215 45 18 Vredestein
rear 7mm 245 40 18 Michelin PS4
They will fit SE SI on stock springs / i had 15mm spacers on rear for ZM

The oldies are still the goodies, I like these, they remind of the m5 style (e39?)

Yep they are / were a classic but so hard to find now as a set of 4 undamaged or that aren't ridiculously priced .
Not unusual to see £400 asks for shabby sets needing refurb & rubber , £650/£850 for decent sets ( genuine )
Asking £450 for mine totally unmarked with quality rubber

Love the look of those. Price seems keen, especially with good rubber included. Would these go on my E85 2.5i SE on sport springs, not lowered? Spacers required?

The car had a bad O2 sensor, so I got that swapped out.... while I was at it I got an oil change and new spark plugs

Also took the opportunity to fit these...

Porsche Boxster S brembos and E46 M3 CSL discs

Unfortunately my rear brake upgrade didn’t quite go as planned

I'm pretty sure they would & no spacers required .
I had style 296 19s on my 2.5se ( stock springs) & the fronts of those are 8j et29 .
Not sure where you are located but you're welcome to try a side on your car to be sure

Very nice indeed Jamie  You need to smarten up your wheel nuts though :D

Cheers mate well spotted I needed to refit the old nuts as spacers were too much with Mv4s so these are what I just had spare in the shed I shall adress them today 8)

Mine went a few weeks ago, the starter motor is actually pretty easy to replace if you fancy getting your hands greasy. New starter is about £90 from EuroCarParts and takes about an hour to do (even for a novice like me). Theres a decent guide in the how to section.

Thought it worthwhile mentioning, I know the excess is cheaper than doing it yourself but if you wanted to save a premium hike or something in future if it works like that?

I claimed on the parts and garage 4 times in one year, once on the Z and 3 times on the van. Maxed them out every-time and paid a bit on top myself.

Never got a price hike, in fact I let the AA cover expire due to being lazy and received a 'reminder' which was £60 cheaper than the year before. Figure that one out, lol.

Generally I'll do the work if it's not covered by the AA, otherwise I'd sooner let them get on with it

1st MOT on the Coupe in my ownership. Passed 1 advisory, I have one indicator light a bit too "white"
I'll just get a new set of bulbs.
Job done.

A long way from Lancs, or Normandy. Way down in Somerset, although I’m heading up to see Mike at Zed Shed in three weeks.

Coded open/close roof on keyfob, what a waste of time, very erratic, it buggered up one touch close drivers window as well, which I thought was a different module. Will be changing back!!

Fitted an Eventuri intake bought from mr.tourette in my 3.0si today. Preliminary results are excellent. It will get a proper test tomorrow on a trip to Wales :D

After

What does this do?

Oops, late reply!

It's supposed to provide the engine with air more effectively than the standard intake. The result is a throatier, deeper growl from the engine bay and maybe a few more horses as well, though that's up for debate. It might be placebo, but I feel like it pulls a little better than before, especially higher in the rev range.

Snapped the locking nut adaptor in the nut while halfway through a wheel swap. Fuming! Off to the local tyre shop first thing to get it removed... IMG_20180718_191406974.jpg

Fixed my headlamp washers, kindly disabled by my mechanic last year after the pipe blew off one of the washer nozzles after not being refined correctly by the bodyshop.

Then washed it and took it for the MOT - all done and no advisories. Just 3500 miles since last year so must get out more... :driving:

Put the car in my garage for the first time in 2 months :D
Been having some building work done on the homestead, 3 weeks after they finished, just managed to clear all the man stuff left over from loosing my shed as a result so she has been left out on the drive :(
Looking forward to giving her a lot of TLC over the next few days.

Initial play around with the recently purchased Carly diagnostics unit......I have the usual airbag light illuminated! Got the fault codes 0093FC B + - line F0093FD B - line looks like the battery cables might have some compromised sheathing or similar somewhere along their length.....
