What have you done to your car today?

Were the failures on the EPS motor, if so, did you get it repaired at ecu testing or just get 2nd hand one ?

The motor failed both times once 2 1/2 years ago and again 2 weeks ago. i had it repaired the first time

New wheels fitted by BMAutosport this morning. Riva DTMs with Michelin PS4 tyres... Really pleased.

I know the CSL reps are done to death on the coupe but I think they suit the car. Plus it's rare I see another e86 on my travels :driving:

Same colour as mine bud and I must say they look amazing!!

Had a play with my steering column ring, now have a much smoother feel on the steering. Lost the twitchy feel and the car is much better to drive.

Today I mostly drove the crap out of my car, largely with DSC off for added grins. Had a great blast with a biker for about five uninterrupted miles along open Exmoor roads with no other traffic. He eventually pulled into a lay-by with a friendly wave and I continued into the sun. These cars are fantastic! 12 days into Z4 ownership and I'm in love

Went for a drive earlier and soon attracted the attention of a knob in an suv who was keen to show me how well his over weight euro box could handle. Right behind me as we entered a few serious bends. I had it in sports mode so kept the speed into the bends. Dickhead was soon lost in the distance and then when I got on a straight, I slowed and soon had dick weed on the rear bumper. I floored it and lost the prat. These cars really can kick ass when they want to.

Left the other half happily watching the Royal Wedding this morning and slipped off for a 2 hour stint around Cheddar Gorge and the surrounding area. Nice quiet roads and once again a huge grin on my face!

Haha [ref]firebobby[/ref] bless him! I bumped into an organised supercar day out today. Lambo Huracan, Audi R8s, numerous Ferraris and Porsches...those boys were giving their cars some serious stick. Sounded phenomenal! On this occasion, my lil Z4 would've been the equivalent of your SUV friend :)

Today I changed the central locking relays on my e85’s GM5 module. The worst bit was getting the module out, because it was not where everyone said it would be. (Supposedly fitted to the plastic part under the glove box. Errr no. Mine was on a bracket bolted to the body. Had to open the roof and stick my legs in the air with my back on the seat and head in the foot well. Anyway it’s done. Locking is really sharp now. In expected bonus. I’ve always had a problem with my alarm going off randomly. This seems to have stopped.

General cruising around with the top down enjoying a perfect day...well after 9hrs in work, which was a bitch as due to bloody weddings and FA cup finals I didn't see a soul.

Still got all day today though. WOOPIE!!

Built some cheap garage cabinets. Garage is nice and tidy for the zed. I know i need to replace the Datsun flag with something BMW. Just havent had the heart to since i sold my Datsun Roadster last year. :D

Purchased and fitted some seat belt comfort things. Wifey is more comfortable now. Home bargains of all places
And a new bucket, sponge and chrome cleaner.
Almost forgot them.

Well not my E89, but my sons E85, sat nav was not working,it had him in the middle of the north sea :? anyway we fitted a new sat nav antenna off ebay, whole £10, and works perfect, and even better, a doddle to fit

Had a nice trip up to Lancashire today through Bowland. First time venturing out there in the Zed and it was a lovely day, plenty of spots to open the taps, along with a few beautiful slow bits.
