What have you done to your car today?

Failed attempt at replacing battery.
Go euro car parts....get battery
Take out old battery...looks bigger than what i bought.
Place small battery in big gap.
Take out small battery and wonder if i can open the boot after closing it with house/bike keys and jump cables inside.
I found out the answer immediately.
Harass neighbours for jump leads to connect old battery to terminals in engine bay.
Phew.....at least i knew how to fix the windows straight away.
Off to work on the bike now.

Installd my shiny new knob which Buckley06 here on the forum machined out by his own fair hand.
Feels fantastic and improves gearchanges beyond belief! Matches the ally trim nicely too :)
And all for €50 posted to Holland. Now that's what I consider maximum return on investment!
Thanks Ollie

Dubious if it's repairable too due to proximity to sidewall.

Gah! :headbang:

Should be ok my Leon had it In a similar area and that got fixed just fine.

Just don't go on any track days

Removed and re-sprayed roll hoop covers (that sounded easy didn’t it  )
I will post up a ‘how to’ with lots of pics in the next few days (finally did it Stuboy - thanks for the new backs  )

I'll get it checked out, if not then new tyre time at £125 plus fitting... ugh

Where do you get your tyres from? Demon tweaks are good then most places only charge £10 for fitting.

Just took the carbon wrap off my interior bits and rewrapped them in gloss black.

Russ, that looks lovely. What wrap did you use? I'd like to tidy my door internals up as they're all scratched & scraped, all currently gray/silver. I assume the hairdryer is to shrink the wrap in place? Any info glad received  .

I got the wrap off a mate, he has his own wrapping and tinting business. The make I used is “Avery” , it’s a dream to work with.
Yes the hair dryer is for softening the vinyl.
It’s pretty easy to do, just don’t rush it, take your time.
I bet there’s YouTube vids on it.

I’v still got a few more bits to do yet, tweeter covers, gear lever surround.
The drivers door window switch hasn’t come out as good as I would like it, I might end up doing that again, it’s quite satisfying doing it.
I’v helped my mate wrap whole cars.

Ordered 1 new Michelin PS4 to replace my nearly new (less than 1k miles) PS4 that got a little too acquainted with a screw. Right on the sidewall too, naturally!

Don't you love it when your £120 tyre gets an unrepairable puncture within the first 2 months...

My wife has a bit of a wobbly ass .. do you think Mike could cure her ?

He could perhaps sort her bushes and she’d feel more planted on the limit

Got mine over to the body shop for its front bumper spray, hopefully the weather will be cheerful when I can pick her up.

Looking forward to having a cleaner looking front, might even run it plateless whilst it gasses off
